Air Fryer Baking Recipes Collection

Yes, you really can bake in an air fryer! This collection brings together my favorite air fryer baking recipes on Supergolden Bakes – cakes, bread, cookies, brownies, muffins, desserts and savory bakes, all tested in my own kitchen.

A collage of air fryer baking recipes including a layered cake with raspberries, pancakes with syrup, crème brûlée, a pavlova, sliced bread, chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles, chocolate chip cookies, and scones with jam and cream.

Supergolden Bakes started life as a baking blog and it is still a passion of mine. When air fryers entered the scene I was instantly obsessed and it didn’t take me long to start experimenting with air fryer baking recipes. In fact, I went on to write a whole cookbook on the subject – Easy Air Fryer Bakes. Air fryer baking is quick, there is no need to heat a whole oven for one cake, and the results are every bit as good.

New to it? Start with my Air Fryer Cake or Easy Air Fryer Bread, and have a look at the baking tips below.

After something savory? Roasts, chicken, sides and fakeaway favorites all live in my Air Fryer Recipes Collection.

There is more to your air fryer than savory time savers! My cookbook, Easy Air Fryer Bakes, has over 80 recipes that show you how to harness the power of baking in the air fryer – anything from pavlovas and celebration cakes to decadent desserts, savory bakes and even bread.

Four desserts: heart-cut pie slices, flower-topped white cake, two plates of chocolate lava cake with spoons, and a round bread wreath with dipping sauce, meats, and olives on a pink tablecloth.

Air Fryer Baking Tips

  • Check your tin fits: a 7-inch (18cm) round cake tin fits most basket air fryers. Leave a little space around it so the hot air can move.
  • Weigh your ingredients: digital scales are far more accurate than cups. My Baking Conversion Calculator converts between cups and grams.
  • Watch the top: the heating element sits close to your bake, so the top browns first. If it is coloring too fast, lower the temperature a little. Any foil or parchment paper must be pinned down with air fryer magnets – loose foil or paper can be blown into the heating element.
  • Test before you trust the timer: air fryers vary from brand to brand. Check your bakes with an instant read thermometer.
  • Cool before slicing: bakes carry on setting as they cool, just as they do from the oven.
  • Kit I use: the cake pans, loaf tins, digital scales and air fryers behind these recipes are all in my Kitchen Shop.

Not sure what to bake first? These four are the most popular bakes on the site – the easy air fryer bread that started it all, a light vanilla sponge, a crusty air fryer sourdough and a zingy lemon drizzle cake.
