Make Air Fryer Chicken Wings once and you will be hooked! The wings are first seasoned then air fried until crisp and juicy. You can serve them as they or with your choice of sauce and prepare to drool!
Cut each wing at the joint to make two pieces to make 24 pieces – wingettes and the drumettes (snip the tips off).
Put in a bowl, add the seasoning and baking powder and toss well to coat them. Cover and put in the fridge for an hour or overnight or you can use them straight away.
Preheat the Air Fryer (mine has a preheat setting for 5 minutes).
Mist the air fryer basket with a little oil then add the wings, making sure to space them out so they crisp up.
Cook for 20 minutes at 400F (205C) flipping halfway through, you may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Check they are cooked with an instant read thermometer – they are ready when they temperature is 165F (73C). If they are not cooked through continue to cook for a further 5 minutes.
Use tongs to transfer the wings onto a platter. Check the seasoning and serve the wings as they are or with your fave dipping sauce. I love using my Korean Chicken Sauce!
