This Air Fryer Meatloaf is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor—with a perfectly caramelized glaze on top. It’s quicker than oven-baked and perfect for an easy family dinner.
Blitz the Ritz crackers in a food chopper or place in a ziplock bag and crush using a rolling pin.
20 Ritz crackers
Place the crumbs into a large bowl and add the milk or buttermilk, cream cheese, tomato paste, egg, Worcestershire sauce, spices and seasoning.
¼ cup (60ml) buttermilk, 4 tbsp garlic and herb cream cheese, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 large egg, 2 tsp dried mustard, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tsp sweet paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp white pepper
Mix well to combine so that the breadcrumbs are nicely moistened. Add the ground beef and stir to combine.
1 lb (450g) ground beef
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Place a piece of aluminum foil on your countertop and add the meatloaf mixture. Add a little olive oil onto your hands and shape into one large or two smaller loaves.

Place the meatloaf in the air fryer basket, making sure to weigh down or secure the edges of the foil. Cook for 15 minutes for mini loaves or up to 20 minutes for a larger meatloaf.
Add the ketchup, barbecue sauce and maple syrup if using into a small bowl and stir to combine. Brush the glaze over the top and sides of the meatloaf.
Air fry for another 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) on an instant-read thermometer. Let the meatloaf rest for 5–15 minutes before slicing.
