Air Fryer Greek Chicken – you are about 15 minutes away from incredibly juicy and succulent chicken thighs... A simple Greek chicken marinade will transform your air fryer chicken into an absolute treat. A quick and easy recipe you can enjoy with the family.
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade in a lidded container. Add the chicken and use tongs to coat each piece with the marinade. Cover and chill for a minimum of 30minutes or overnight in the refrigerator..
Air Fry
Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes at 400°F / 200°C. Add the chicken thighs on a rack or directly in the air fryer in a single layer.
Air fry for 7 minutes then flip them over and continue cooking for a further 6-7 minutes or until the chicken registers an internal temperature of about 170°F / 75°C on a meat thermometer.
The chicken should be golden with slightly charred crispy edges but incredibly tender and juicy within. Rest the chicken for a couple of minutes before serving.
Serve and Enjoy
My favourite way to serve this chicken is as a sort of gyros platter - sliced and served with Greek salad, pita bread and plenty of tzatziki sauce.
To serve as a Pita Wrap
Layer your flatbread with the tzatziki sauce, plenty of chicken gyros, thinly sliced tomatoes and onions. You can also add fried halloumi and/or some fries if you want the full experience!

Notes
Can I use chicken breasts? Chicken breasts can definitely benefit from the wonderful Greek marinade, but they can dry out in the air fryer. Keep an eye on them while cooking to make sure they are not overcooked.
Reheating Greek Chicken Leftovers can be kept for a couple of days in the fridge (not that we have EVER had leftovers) and warmed in the air fryer for a couple of minutes at 350F / 180°C or until heated through before serving.
