My office job came to an end last week (scary, but also, yay!) and I had thought that once I was at home I would be able to not only keep up with my freelance work but also be on top of my blogging. Ha! Was I ever wrong… At the moment I still playing catch up with both work and blogposts and this is why this round up is a full day late.
It has been a very good week for #CookBlogShare though with many lovely entries and new people joining. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to see comments generated through this link party. I hope that in some small way it encourages bloggers to discover and get to know one another.
This round up has no less than 3 savoury recipes which has got to be a record. We kick of with a Pea & Watercress Soup from Carrie of Time to be an Adult (incidentally something I tell myself all the time). I am not thrilled with the sudden chill in the air but I am all for soups and comfort food – this recipe looks absolutely delicious.
From our two, fairly light, first entries we move on to a full-on unapologetic carb-fest courtesy of Julie: Bolognese Pasta Bake. I just want someone to hand me a spoon and a large plate – her beautiful photos are making me so hungry! I think I will make this next weekend – for the kids…
Do we still have space for dessert? I hope so because it is a real beauty: Baked Lemon Cheesecake from Caroline of My Family Ties. This looks picture-perfect and so damned delicious!
