The other day my son, who is nearly four, brought home a batch of cookies he baked at nursery. He deposited them on my computer desk (also my photo ‘studio’) and proudly announced “I brought these home so you can photograph them. Get your camera”. Which was all kinds of adorable of course but it does highlight the absurdity of cooking something and then spending ages (in my case) photographing it.
I am sure you all have some stories to share about trying to get that perfect shot – perched on a ladder perhaps? I have done that. On top of a rickety table straddling the plates? Yup, that too. In the front of the house in full view of passers by? Been there, done that and shared the cake. How have you all been coping with autumn/winter photography?
This week #CookBlogShare boasts some very impressive recipes – I take my virtual hat off to you Luca and Angela – see their amazing creations below. But we also have some slightly less technical but equally mouthwatering recipes from Magda and Kate – take a look and remember to link yours.
