Apologies for delays in posting the #CookBlogShare round up – technology is really not my friend lately. My computer has returned from the Mac doctors with a new hard drive but none of my applications – no Photoshop=huge frustration. I am currently working with two giant computers side by side on a tiny desk like some B movie hacker about to take over the world. My world domination plans will have to take a back seat this week though as I panic about last minute present buying, kitchen building hiccups and continuing health worries.
Since it is so damned hard to blog at the moment and since Christmas is a mere few days away I think I will have an extended link up which will take us up to Monday 29/12 – I am sure everyone will be a little preoccupied to be doing much blogging or tweeting during this time! And speaking of tweeting can I please ask you all to tweet me your entries so I can RT? Downloading your photos to tweet is time consuming and really difficult at the moment – but remember a tweet with a photo is much more effective at grabbing attention than one without!
And since I am on the subject of Twitter two of our #CookBlogShare bloggers have recently joined so I hope you make them feel loved – say hi to Kate of Gluten Free Alchemist at @GFAlchemist1 and Hannah of Domestic Gothess at @DomesticG0thess.
And a final reminder to tweet any Christmas-related bakes to me with the hashtag #bestxmascakes for the chance to win a Cadbury’s Chocolate Hamper! This competition closes tonight at midnight.
This week is all about Christmas nibbles… which is exactly as it should be!
1. Julie’s Family Kitchen has some pretty Chocolate and peppermint Christmas tree cookies.
2. Heledd of Running in Lavender made some Cinnamon stars with her adorable toddler…
3. Apparently these Chocolate caramel nut clusters from Ciara of My Fussy Eater are healthy – which is only one more reason to make some!
4. Chocolate peppermint crisps? Yes please Sarah of Tales from the kitchen shed!
