Sorry this is coming out so late, I was out today on a cinema date with my husband – we went to see Interstellar at the IMAX. And I know this is coming out like ‘it’s no big deal’ but, in fact, this is a humongous deal. The last time I saw a film at the cinema that didn’t have animated characters was well over four years ago. Years! And even then it was an isolated event – really the last time I can recall going to the cinema properly was before I had children which means it’s nearly been a decade.
Back when I was in school and in college I went to the cinema as often as possible – up to three times a week. Those were the days, eh? Can’t wait until my daughter is old enough to enjoy more grown up films – I can see us going on film dates the two of us.
Apart from cinema outings (our next one is due in 2018 if my math is correct) I have been pretty busy in the kitchen so I have tons of writing and photo editing to do… I have been cooking almost exclusively Christmas recipes and I can see a lot of you have as well judging from your entries. I keep thinking it’s mid December and not November – and so have the kids. Mind you, Anya would happily celebrate Christmas in July given the slightest chance.
